All clear at NC School of Science and Math after shooter report

Durham authorities found no threat after receiving a call about an active shooter at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics on Tuesday afternoon.
The school was placed on lockdown for approximately 40 minutes. Durham police and sheriff's deputies conducted a thorough search of the campus and found no signs of danger, according to school leadership.
The incident began around 1:30 p.m. Sky 5 provided aerial coverage of the response. Emergency vehicles were stationed along Broad Street and near the school entrance on Club Boulevard.
Earlier that day, Jordan High School, also in Durham, was temporarily placed on secure status after administrators were informed of a possible weapon on campus.
